question about youtube

Question Posted Wednesday May 9 2007, 4:41 pm

Hi I have a few questions about uploading on youtube. I have a windows movie maker slideshow that I wanted to put on youtube... can you put slideshows on there? It has music and all it is sort of like a video... What type of file format does the video have to be to be put on youtube? Also, I just got all of my pictures off of the internet of people, am I allowed to do this? They weren't photographers websites or anything... Do I have to OWN the picture to put them in a slideshow on youtube? Thanks

First of all, you can put a slideshow on youtube.
Sorry, but I don't know what file format you can upload.
And, it is illegal to use pictures that aren't your own.
Here's a tip:
If you don't own it, don't use it, but if it were a picture that you took of a famous celebrity, it would be your picture, and you could sue anyone that used it without permission from the copyright holder (in this case, you).
