Burning a CD

My modem :-

And I put the CD-R into the second slot/drive

I've never used this CD-R, I bought 10 of them from ASDA yesterday for 99p, maybe thats a reason?

If you can still burn CD-RWs in it, then I would guess the disks are bad. Try using the other disk tray. Maybe it would work if you use a different cd burning application; try [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) . I've always had tons of problems with burning CDs, usually after I've tried for hours, it'll work the next day; so keep trying and good luck!
