Acrylic nail lifting

Question Posted Saturday May 5 2007, 9:12 pm

My acrylics are lifting pretty badly. I just hit the two week maintenance mark (it was yesterday, and I was too busy to go get them filled. Today I was just too lazy to go.). I'm planning on going Monday to get them fixed unless I decide to completely remove them myself with acetone fingernail polish remover.

My question: How does a nail technition fix lifting acrylics?

Im pretty sure if they just fill them up and make a new layer then they will stay just fine. Otherwise they will just start over if its really bad.

They will either take the ones that are lifting off and redo it or just fill it in as usual and it'll be fine with the new acrylic on top.

Also, if they can clip just the part that's lifting off, they can do that and just fill it in. It all depends on how badly they are lifting or the place you get them done.
