ciao77 answered Saturday May 5 2007, 8:30 pm: It's completely normal for your period cycle to change. This can happen for a number of reasons, but the main cause is stress (sort of messes with your hormones). A couple months ago, for instance, my period was nearly a week late because I was extremely stressed out over school/research. My period is almost always on time. I even started breaking out more than usual.. you'd be surprised what stress can do to your body.
Most likely you're late due to stress. I'm sure it'll come within a few days. If not, maybe try talking to a nurse or gyno to see if it's hormone or nutrition related (it's unlikely). They're likely to tell you the same thing I am. Don't worry about it; take your mind off it, and one of these days it'll come. [ ciao77's advice column | Ask ciao77 A Question ]
