Tangled Situation...
This is going to be long and I'm sorry for that, but can someone please help me? I swear that I'm a grammar freak so it will be easy to read =X.
I'm 14/f in 9th grade and I'm the kind of girl that has various crushes for a short time. I'd like a guy for less than a month than move on and forget about him. If, by chance, I like a guy for more than a month or two, that means that I really like the guy. [And I emphasize the really part]. Well, I met this guy [let's call him Joe] at the end of September this year through a friend. He's 15/m, turning 16 sometime soon, in 10th grade. At the beginning he was very flirtatious with me but that kind of stopped, and I've grown to really like him sometime during that time. I know that we're not as close anymore now but me, being the hopeless one, keep on hoping that we'd be close again. But moving on. I still like this guy and it's been over 5 months now, which is pretty sad. Well, I told one of my friends that I liked him and she wrote him a note saying "I have a friend that really likes you and cares about you and thinks you're cute, sweet, funny, blah blah blah. But she feels like you're ignoring her and I just want you to notice her and not ignore her." Or something like that and she stuck it in his locker. I swear I didn't know that she was going to do that and I'm still kind of mad at her for doing that. But she did NOT use any names whatsoever. & so I decided to write him a note saying, "This is kind of awkward. Sorry about that ntoe my friend sent you." and then I went on for a few sentences saying what I liked about him. And then I stuck it in his locker. BLAH I don't know why I did that because apparently, he, or someone else, found out it was me. I don't know if someone saw me [because it was an hour before school started and only a few people were at school & I was sure I didn't hear any footsteps near me when I went to his locker] or if he figured it out it was me. I know he knows because when I went to the lunch table where he sits to talk to another person there about going to the mall, a girl was like "Oh look there's [my name]" Then another girl, let's call her Jane, said, "Don't ignore her Joe" Then Joe turned and said "Of course I won't ignore her" And I kind of pretended like I didn't hear any of that. But it was all said in a very sarcastic tone. Then Jane had to add, "Hey, [my name], do you enjoy writing notes and sticking them in people's lockers?" And I played dumb and went "Huh?" and then turned to my friend, whom I was talking with about the mall thing. And I'm hurt that he told people. He must have or they wouldn't have brought up the "ignore" thing. And Jane is pretty mean to me and she's basically a total b*tch. [Sorry for my language].
I know that Joe's a really nice guy but knowing that he told people about the note, I'm very disappointed and sad about. I don't know what to do...do I deny that I put the note in his locker and act as if I'm clueless and as if nothing happened OR do I just nonchalantly admit it and bleh. I don't know what to do. Can anyone give me step by step instructions as to what I should do?
