okay so 3 weeks ago, i hooked up with this kid, and then that night [like, 3 hours after i made out with him] he began to get the symptons of mono, and then next thing i know, hes out of school for a while.
so here is my question: do i have a risk of getting mono because he got it that night?

Yes, you could have it. Its incubation time(the time from infection to symptoms) is very long, up to a month and a half. If you start getting flu-like symptoms, go to the doctor. It's not life-threatening or anything; surely nothing to be too worried about(It's nothing like AIDS, even very different in how you can be infected). I wouldn't go to the doctor's before you get symptoms.

Yes. Depending on what excatly you two were doing. Its possible. Mono is kindof like aids. Body fluids., etc. But you can get Mono from deinking out of the same glass as well. Go to your doctor and check yourself up. Better safe then sorry.
