My anus is sore...

I have a problem w/ my anus, its all red and itchy and it stings! what should a do about this, I DEFINETLY DON'T wanna go to my mom, its sooooooo embarassing!!! And a week ago, I asked her nervously what to do about it, and she said she'll take a look at it, that sounded embarassing. She called me to that bathroom, and I ran scared into my room, and said I was busy doing homework. I couldn't go out into the hall until she went to the grocery store. So what do you people think I should do[other than suggesting to go back to my mother!]

try putting some moisturizing lotion around it. if you have neosporin use that.
if it doesnt go away/get better within two days, go see a doctor about it. most likely they will take a culture, and i am pretty sure they will not look back there, but will just give you a wipe so you can wipe yourself in the bathroom.
as for your mom tell her upfront you are uncomfortable with her seeing your back their (lol). she should understand.

I know, I know, it's different now, but trust me, she has seen your anus before. She knows what it looks like. So it's just your issue that you don't want to let her look. You should, though.
If you can't bring yourself to let her look, then maybe she will pick up some Preparation H at the grocery store for you. The Prep H wipes are also pretty good and they contain things to help with the itching. How do you know your anus is red? Did you use a mirror to examine yourself?
