My Hair is really frizzy. in the beggining of the school year i always put curling stuff in my hair because if i let it dry naturaly it would be like 10 inches thick lol. and now i actually became alittle "unlazy" and started to straighten my hair. and i really like it. but does anybody know of some really good hair products to make your hair straighter and less poofy that actually works! and if you people have any good images of some cute hair styles a brunette 13 year old girl would wear. plzz&&thnxx

You apply a small amount to damp hair, and style as you like- blow dry/straighten, etc. It's also useful for those lazy days when all you want to do is let your hair air dry.Just make sure that when you're straightening your hair, you use an oil or other serum to protect from damage-
I've gotta mention this one, it's the best: BIOSILK...you can find it at drugstores too. It's an oil w/ silk proteins. It smells nice and works wonderfully at keeping hair smooth and straight...just apply to dry hair and straighten. There are a lot of products out there aimed at smoothing out hair. I'd suggest using shampoo/conditioner that's formulated for sleek/smooth hair. Usually it'll say so on the bottle. Marc Anthony has a good line of shampoos for all different hair types. You could also go to a beauty supply store and ask for suggestions. I also have frizzy/poofy hair, so I know where you're coming from. But remember that it is still nice to have volume- it's a versatile hair type. Although it gets annoying, you can do anything with it- it's naturally voluminous, can easily be curled, and straightened when you feel like that. [ ciao77's advice column | Ask ciao77 A Question ]
