a boy...
hey. ok. sorry if this is long. i am 14/f. so today, i started going to a new church. two of my best friends go there, so i started going there. well, when i got there, we did activities and stuff in youth group, then we went to the regular church service. well, in the youth group there is this guy i'm changing the name so.. we'll call him.. Jacob. well, at first i thought he was really really stupid and imature. but then when we went to the room where they hold the regular church services, the kids were suposed to sit in the front row, and the adults in the back rows. well, i sat down by my friend, we'll call her.. Jacy. so we sat down, but she couldn't sit for long cause she had to light the candles. well, Jacob came over and sat by me. and Jacy and i were talking and then i looked at him. like i said, i thought he was really stupid. but then he goes "you have really pretty eyes" and i am such a sucker for that kinda stuff! i love it when guys are all sweet and stuff. and i was like "thanks..." cause i didn't know if he was serious or joking. then he goes " most guys don't notice stuff like that, but i do". so thats when i kinda started liking him. then at the end, it was the time when you "Greet your naighbors" kinda thing where you shake hands, give hugs and say "good morning". well, i went and shook some ppls hands, and i was talking to Jacy. then Jacob comes up behind us and he pats my shoulders and then he gives Jacy and another girl a hug. then we go back over to our bench where we were sitting and Jacy and we were talking again. then she turns to talk to someone and Jacob walks over by us. at first i just look at him, but then i look away and then he goes "do you want a hug?" and i was like "sure" so we hug and he was like "welcome to church!" and i was like "yeah.." cause i still wasn't quite sure bout him. then tonight i went to sunday night church and Jacob was there. we had to make a poster for the pastor because she had surgury and we were making a welcome back poster. well, he was flirting with me, and i didn't think i was but all of my friends were like "you guys stop flirting!" in a joking kinda way. and i was like "what the heck?!" and infront of him Jacy goes "you guys should go out!" and i was like "no" and he was like "ewwww" and that kinda dissaponited me cause i like him, but he was sayin eww. but then the rest of the night he kept flirting with me. so do you think he likes me? or is he just messing with my head? he said that he has a girlfriend, but we all think hes lying. and i said to jacy "do you think he likes me?" and she goes "idk, he does that a lot sometimes". and that kinda made me sad too. and all of my friends think he is weird. they don't really see him like i do. i just don't know what to do. any advice on what to talk to him about, if you think he likes me or not, or ANYTHING!!!! any advice will be great! but i need advice by this wendsay cause i'm goin to wendsay night church. thanks!!!!! <3

ok, listen girl. i got a guy who like, did the same thing. sat next to me at lunch, complimented me,always asked me for hugs, called me,hung out,and went eww when some1 sugested dating. now we're going out. chances r, he's a sweetheart. he probobly likes u. my guy told me he liked another girl 2. thats 2 make u jelous.ask him out!

I think you should trust your first instincts. If you thought he was stupid and immature, that's what he is. He might think you're cute, but if he's telling you he has a girlfriend, he's just messing with your head. I think you two should just be friends and when he flirts with you, just try to shrug it off. If your friend says he does that with a lot of girls, then that doesn't make you any more special.

i think he likes you, but he was imbarest cause of your freinds and when she said you guys should go out and you said no he probly felt he had to say something like that too.

First off, stop letting your friends make it awkward for you guys. You and the boy should talk to one another away from your friends, so you don't feel awkward getting to know one another. Second, if you think he is an immature boy, then he probably is. You should just ask him basic questions to get to know him, the things you think are important in boys, you should ask. He probably does like you.
