i have lipstick i like, but it never stays on. is there something i can put over it (like a lcear gloss, etc) that well make it stay on longer???

Run an ice cube over your lips and apply the lipstick when your lips are still SLIGHTLY damp. This will help the lipstick stay in place a lot longer. Plus, it's free!

i use it by itself to its anice thick gloss that protects the color on your lips!!!

I would try the lipglosses & lipsticks that are meant to stay on all day. If you can't afford them, then just reapply your's when you see it's fading.
