spit/drooling problem

Question Posted Tuesday April 24 2007, 5:33 pm

I have A LOT of spit! When I go to the dentist and they tell me to open my mouth, less then five second like huge amount of spit or drool pours out.

I tried spitting as much as I could in a garbage can before I went again next tiem and didn't work at all.

Sometimes when I sing I'll have like a spit bubble or drool! gross! I know this is thinking ahead but if I ever kiss a guy..not gonan be pretty

Trust me, it won't be a problem. When my fiance was younger he got hit in the face with a baseball and a whole bunch of his teeth fell out. They got them all back in just fine, but he had to have 4 or 5 root canals in 2 days. Since then, he's had problems like yours. None of this affects the way that he kisses. He's great at it and it's not sloppy at all. It doesn't matter if you drool all over the place at the dentist and it doesn't matter if something slips out because to tell you the truth, everybody blows a spit bubble every once in awhile. Plus, some people like their kisses a little sloppy anyway. Don't worry about this! :)

I know a lot of people with spit and drooling problems!
One of my friends went to the doctor for it and they gave her some type of medicine or something *not sure about all the details* that helped her stop having a lot of saliva in her mouth.
If your really annoyed or concerned about it, ask your parents to see if maybe the doctor would recomend anything.
