drinking to get comfortable

Question Posted Tuesday April 24 2007, 5:14 pm

k so i'm going to my friends house this wkend and the person i like is gonna be there soo i'm gonna drink before so i can be more relaxed and like social i guess... it usually takes me like 12 shots of captains to get drunk but i haven't gotten drunk in like 3 months so idk if my tolerence has gone down. i want to be like tipsy but not really noticably drunk cuz my moms driving me there. i'm female, 5' 4" and 100 lbs by the way.

first off, there is no way your body can hold 12 shots of anything... you're not taking full shots if you're drunk on 12. for someone your size (or even someone 50 lbs. heavier) that's wayyy too much.
drinking won't make the person like you more... you can be social without it.
if you take about 3 regular shots, that would be a good enough buzz...
but really tho, take it from someone who has been there... half the fun is drinking it so just showing up mesed up would make things weird, especially if no one else does. <3
