Can someone help me how to type properly? There was this program like Mavis Becan at school to help me type properly but I still didn't get it.
I don't type properly but I don't type in like a weird way or anything but my cousin was in high school and he's like if you don't type properly the teacher can give you a low mark in computer class.
I'm going to high school next year and I'm worried

The idea is to know where all the letters, numbers and punctuation is without looking at the keyboard. if you can do that then it's just a matter of practice so you get fast. As far as being marked down, you get marked down for errors in spelling just like you would if you wrote it out by hand. [ rick505's advice column | Ask rick505 A Question ]

Well this is a problem I have always had. I think that you shouldnt worry about your typing, there are very few free ones, but there are a couple if you search google for free typing programs a couple might come up. It would probably be a good idea to just go out and buy one though. If that's not an option, you can take a peice of paper and try and copy it out on to word or note pad and try and keep your fingers on the right keys.
Lastly, if none of that works, before class on your like first or second day of computer class in school, tell the teacher you have difficulty typing, what can you do in order to get a good mark. Maybe you have to stay at lunch and practice or something. I was worried about losing marks for typing too, but my teacher marked us on whether or not we tried. So I got a good mark even though my typing wasnt great. I hope that helped, love ya,
