crossword puzzle maker!

Question Posted Saturday April 21 2007, 12:25 pm

i made a crossword on this website-

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

and at the bottom, you see how it says,

Note: For a fee, you can use Crossword Weaver to print a nice copy of this puzzle (one that doesn't look like a web page). You can check it out for free by downloading the demo from www.CrosswordWeaver.com .

well. i figured out how to delete all that stuff (file, print preview, page setup, margins & header/footer, blank for all). but now, it's PERFECT except for the "note: for a fee..." ! and i CANNOT figure out how to delete it!

i've tried copying and pasting to microsoft word, but the boxes get screwed up.

& do NOT want to download the demo from crossword weaver - i tried & it doesnt work.

i've also tried googling other FREE crossword makers, but they are all weird & i like this one the best.

is there a way to delete it on the computer before printing WITHOUT messing up the crossword puzzle?

thank you!

Without using a lot of technology, you could print out the crossword puzzle with the text on it, cut the text out of it, and then go to a copy machine and print out a copy with the copy machine. That text will be gone then. :)

**edit: it's extremely easy to remove the ad footer in the HTML. Just scroll to the bottom of the HTML and find "<p>note for a fee you can use...</p>" Just delete the entire text within <p>, and including the <p> tags. I'm glad I've been of service to you, and you are very welcome.**

Right click the crossword page and select "save page as", and save it on your desktop. Right click that HTML file and click "edit". If you know HTML, it should be easy to remove the advertisement. If not, you can upload the HTML page to a site like [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) , send me a private question(not feedback) with the link, and I'll remove it for you.
