i'm so embarrassed...

Question Posted Friday April 20 2007, 8:19 pm

last night... me, 3 of my friends, and my crush all went to my friend lacy's house. while we were there, we were just doing stupid stuff, and then i got up on a table and started baton twirling. i was doing really good, then i hit myself in the head fell off the table. it was so embarrassing. he just like, looked at me. then, to make up for what i had done.. i tried to be funny. so i pantsed my friend and she teared up. he just looked at me again. ugh! finally, the girls did a little dance routine to "thriller"... it was fun and i did really good, then i went to the bathroom when we were done and saw that i had a huge black smudge on my face and my hair was sticking up.. bad.. now i know why they are laughing. what should i say to him? is it too late to redeam myself? or am i just doomed...?

Hey!
Well unless hes one of those stupid guys (which actually isnt that uncommon, but we'll hope for the best) he probably realized how hard you were trying to make him laugh and he'll probably just think you're random and funny but try to hard. I don't know for certain if he'll do anything, but he might think you're cute and ask you out, so hope for the best.
At school, or whenever you're around him, for damage control, try to forget he's around and be yourself. Be normal, because if you continue to try hard, then he wont want to hang out with you. Dont try to hard to be what he wants because you may end up being the opposite.
and in the future, just remember when you're with your friends, be with your friends, act how you would normally act not the way you think he wants you to act.
As far as redeaming yourself, theres probably something you could say, but I think you dont really need damage control, because theres a chance that you could just make it worse.
If you concentrate on being yourself, everything will be fine. And if he doesnt show any interest, then he doesnt deserve someone who wants him so bad she'll pants her friend :P
You're not doomed. And if he doesnt seem to be acting weird around you, (weird as in, ahh shes that creepy girl run awayyyyy) then I recomend asking him out. The worst he can say is... uh I dont really think that would be a good idea right? So theres no harm in trying. Good luck, I hope I helped,
Love ya,

if this guy likes you back he will probably bring it back up and laugh about it with you, but just act(be) embarrased. And if he keeps talking about it and laughs he probably likes you.

Well, if you freaked out, then that was bad. But don't make a big deal out of it, try to be like, "Well, I wanted you guys to laugh so I did that," or something like, "I don't care want you thought of me." As for the guy, tell him that you were just trying to make him smile and stuff. That isn't what you truley look like when your out. But don't stress about it.
I always would bring a pony-tail holder for those type of situations and a purse for if something like that happens agian. The purse, bring your make-up in the purse and you cell(in case you need to call anyone), but as for the black smudge, you could probally get that off with a wet wash cloth. But if this ever happens agian go to the bathroom QUIKLY, get a wet wash cloth and wipe off the smudge, do your make up quikly, and put your hair up in a cut bun.
Well I think I gave to much advice. Plz tell me what happens. I would be so happy if you did.

most guys, when they REALLY really like you, they don't care how you look. they think you're beautiful no matter what. so if he likes you, i'm sure it didn't make a difference to him.

& uhh, a friend is supossed to tell you that stuff .. not laugh their ass off at you. in my opinion, that's pretty immature of them.

hey, everyone makes mistakes.
did the friend who you pantsed like the guy or something? why the heck did she tear up? most of my friends would just crack up laughing & then be over it, but they wouldn't get mad or cry.

he probably didn't think anything of it about you hitting yourself in the head. next time, just like laugh it off or something & don't feel stupid about it. did he have a blank expression on his face, or what?
