yes depending on the birth control- you can get birth control at PLANNED PARENTHOOD. Or do it the old fashion way (if you are having sex) use a condom and there are also female condoms if you want to take on your own responsibility. ]
I believe yes and no. At Planned Parenthood, they give them to you for a small price. If you're over 18, you can get them over the counter at some places, and when you go to a gynocoligst, you then need a prescription. But condoms would be a pretty good bet. They're not that much, and you can buy them without any type of prescription. ]
You don't have to go to a doctor or drive very far to use birth control provided you use condoms. You just have to use them exactly as the directions say and use them every time. For birth control pills you do need a prescription and if you can't go to a doctor, you can find out what Planned Parenthood can do for you, assuming you can get there.
Condoms are probably your best bet.
