what do you do when you like a guy who likes someone else and it seems to you like he is flirting with you because he pokes you and look at you with a really cute face.i really like him so i cant just forget about him i just want to know what to do like to either talk to him or to leave it alone

well, does he know you like him? cause if he does, he might just like you cause you like him (almost as pity).
if he DOESN'T know that you like him, then he might like you and another girl. or, maybe he's just naturally flirtatious.
it seems to me like you really like him, so if i were you, i would like him and talk to him, etc. but i would try to keep my space. cause it's like, if you sit next to him during a class & such, and he is all flirty and cute you really fall for him. but then, when you see him with the other girl, it's like, this painful jealousy and / or hatrid (sp.) for her. it's just very painful. because then you're like, "omg i hate him. i hate him. he's done." and you see him again and it's like this ENDLESS cycle.
so i'd keep my space with him- like him from a distance. i wouldn't get his sn, and if you already do, just block him sometimes so he's not always on your mind. eventually you will stop liking him and let him and the other girl be together, or maybe he'll stop liking the girl and like you.
are you SURE he likes the other girl? or is it just an assumption. cause assumptions are bad - all my friends make these stupid assumptions that "he" doesn't like them because he LOOKS at another girl. it is completely ridiculous.
so, if you know for a FACT he likes that girl, just let fate run it's course - if you guys are meant to be, you'll be together in the end. everything happens for a reason.
and if he doesn't like you - it's for a reason, maybe because you deserve someone better.
SO, to answer your question, do a mixture. do not ignore him or he will dislike you but don't go talking to him 24 / 7 or you will get hurt.
