mp3 player...?

Question Posted Wednesday April 18 2007, 5:51 pm

I just bought this brand-new mp3 player, it's an audiosolutions brand type deal, and I like it and all... it's just that for about half my songs, it only plays the beginning or maybe half of it. It's not on the "intro" setting, and most of the songs will play all the way through, but there's about 25 songs that will only play the first part.. the songs are all full when played on my computer, so I know it's the mp3 player, not the actual songs. I was just wondering if there was a way to fix it so, you know, everything works. Thanks so much in advance!

Alright, I tried searching for the brand name, and it did not come up. Firstly, it would help if you gave us the model name or the model number, then we might point you to the right direction. Honestly, I believe that the mp3 player is faulty due to the fact that it's from a company that no one really knows. Either that, or your program that sends the mp3 files into your mp3 player is buggy, or it could be both. I suggest you get an mp3 player from a reliable company that people know.

These are just assumptions, since I really don't have enough information to legitimately answer your question.

It sounds like there's something wrong with the MP3 player's codecs. This is often a problem with cheaper brands. There's nothing you can do to fix it, but you might be able to use zamzar( [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ) to take the MP3(or whatever) and convert it to WAV, and then convert it back to MP3. The files should then play normally.
