Hi, i read your answers to a question about oily skin...and im wondering why not where foundation? I have very oily skin and zits, and I wear foundation to cover it up. What's so wrong with that? If I don't where it, I look like a geek.

By layering on foundation to cover oily skin you are not allowing it to breathe as well as clogging your pores, this will add to the amount of bacteria on your face and your blemishes. Often the more foundation the worse your skin becomes and the more long term damage you do to it. If you are less than 20 or so then you need to think about the long term health of your skin over the immediate need to make your complexion look different. if you are over 20 and you are still experiencing these problems you need to see a doctor, either your regular physician or a dermatologist who can help you take a more proactive stance towards your skin care.
