Crayola Makes a gold crayon. Granted that means investing in another box of crayons, but the bigger box that has like 64 has more colors than you could ask for. I don't think you can actually mix two colors and get gold....

got your reply, sorry i read wrong....but you still can't mix two colored pencils and get gold either. You might be better off with a crayon.

Hey,

Alright. I've studied color theory and all about artsy stuff. Anywhoo. Right now, I'm holding my color wheel, and it looks like there is a solution!

It's quite simple really. Add a lil bit of black to your regular yellow. The more the black, the darker your gold. I will be close to this dried mustard color thingy. If you want, try adding just a tiny bit of orange.

So your three colors are:

Yellow
Black
Orange (possibility)

Experiment on a piece of scrap paper first and see what you come up with with and without the orange, different intensities of black, etc.

Hope this helps!

God I love it when people ask questions about art!

XD
Kay.

**edit 2:Alright, I think I figured it out. You mix Cyan and Magenta. Cyan is blue/green and Magenta is pink**

**edit:shoot, I meant Green and RED. I'm still not sure if that'll work, though...**

Green and yellow should make gold. If that doesn't work, try purple and blue.

Subtractive color is confusing, so I could be wrong.
