My life is being turned upside down
14/f OKAy my dad has been battling cancer of and on since i was about 9 im 14 now and about 3 months ago all the cancer was gone and i was sooo happpy well last week he got realli sick and had to go to the hospital to get his kidneys fixed.. well they think he has bladder cancer now.. I cryed a little bit but i keep tryint to hold it all in... last time my dad had cancer i had a major breakdown with my 3 really close friends, i dont liek ot break down but they were thhere for me and they talked me through everythign.... well no i feel like i have noone to break down to and i realy feel like i need to just once and let all my anger and sadness out..but the friends i did it with last time we arent really friends anymore becausse we went to different high schools when high school started.. now i feel like if i want to talk to anyone 1. they wont care and 2. they will think differntly of me because i am the girl who is easy to become friends with but im alwsy the one to listen to there problems and i rarely let anyone know whats goign on in my life.. i feel like if i done have a "breakdown" soon something bad is goign to happen.. i dont wanna become depressed but i think i am on the rode to major depresseion and i used to cut myself and i really dont wanna start that up again but i feel that if i need to i will.....What do i do!!!!!!!?!?!? i cant go to any counselers cause i never feel comfortable with them.... how do i talk to my friends about it !?!?!?! im just soo lost iu dont knoe what to do with myself??

Hey smile your dad isnt dead. Did you think of that maybe you have maybe you havnt.doesnt matter I am sorry i cant tell you what to do i am sorry for that . But i think you know what to do you said in your paragraph. Get someone to talk to. Hey i know this will sound weird but you can try talking to your dad tell him how much you feel for him. This is if you havnt because that will help you and it will help him too. You know that time at night when you are just sitting there and somepeople think of the thing s they have, somepeople things they havnt, somepeople things they want. While you sit there go over all of it one night all the things you have things you dont things you want. And where does your dad come into picture?

the last thing that you want to do is to start cutting yourself again. talk to someone at school, teachers can sometimes help (or at least they think they can). if you feel that you want to talk to your friends at school just explain whats happening, im sure that they will understand and will be willing to listen. you wont know until you try =) plus talking to people on here will help you and im sure you will get exellent advice on what to do. if you think that you will become depressed then maybe going to see a doctor will help you. if you feel like you need to talk to someone i am here, along with lots of other people.
