is he interested?

Question Posted Friday April 13 2007, 11:57 pm

Okay so I was talking to this guy from school last night and he just so happens to be the hottest guy in the grade. We've talked a few times in school but we aren't tight or anything.

So this is how the conversation went:

(after like an hour of talking)
Me: Im so bored. My life needs some excitement. ANYTHING.
Him: You need a boyfriend.
Me: Yeah but they're no decent guys around.
Him: Yes there is *lists a few including his name*

...and the conversation went on.

So I was just curious to see how this looks. Would you say he was interested in me? Or was it just a random topic he brought up?

Please be honest.

Additional info, added Saturday April 14 2007, 6:55 pm:
Also the list was short, like 3-5 people. and 3 of them were already dating someone and the other two were him and a friend (who was also there at the time with him, but I already liked his friend a while ago).

Complete and total honesty lol: well, usually guys WILL put their names in their lists of "popular, good looking, nice, ladies man...etc" but for a guy to come out and just say something romantically random (if that makes any sense) when you say you're bored then i would categorize him as another way of saying "i am available!!!!" also pay attention to the list, is it short? are the guys on it cute or not? well i hoped i helped lol and GoOd LuCk!!!

Yeah, I think there might be something there. Even if he was just your friend, he wouldn't have put his name in the list. Or if he wasn't interested in you, or liked somebody else instead, there's no way he would have put his name in the list. Also the fact that his first suggestion was that you get a boyfriend. He's probably too shy to just come out and say it, or maybe he's not sure if you're interested in him either. You could be suave the next time you talk to him and say "I was thinking about your list of guys that you gave me, and I think I chose one." That would drive him wild. Good luck.

If he wasn't interested, he wouldn't have slipped his name into the list all sly like that.

i think he was definatly hinting something there and he sounds like he's interested in you. it also sounds like he has thought about it before coz i dont think he would just say it if he didnt mean it. so you should go for it! keep me posted.. i wanna no what happens
