TEENAGExHEARTS answered Friday April 13 2007, 2:54 pm: ok just to start off your not overweight. when i caculated your BMI you are in the normal range. but that doesn't mean that you don't have some unnessecary fat. well its good that you ride horses and are on the track team. you will definitely see a difference in your weight if you keep this up. you should try eating healthier and doing some extra exercises that will work your abs more. try cutting out soda from your diet (if you drink it) and cut down on snacks. you shouldn't deprive yourself of all junk because then you will crave it and it might result in binge eating. so just cut down on junk food. if you can try eating five smaller meals a day instead of 3 big meals. this will keep you less hungry and keep your metabolism going. then you could try doing about 100 crunches a day to work your abs some more. also drink A LOT of water! as much as you can. it is recommended to drink 8 glass a DAY!
about your ribs, there is nothing you can do about them. it is just the way your body is built. think of it this way, if you don't like your nose there is nothing you can do about it without surgery. i know there is cosmetic surgery you can get to "sand down" your ribs. but this is expenisve and you most likely don't need it.
just learn to love your body the way it is built :]
