i like someone but am afraid to ask them out

i really like someone but im afraid to ask her out incase she just laughs at me. I have tried flirting but i dont know wether it is working or not, could you give me any advice?

If she talks to you now without laughing...well, unless you say something funny, then she probably likes you.
