Maybe give some free advice about: Babysitting?
I'm afraid there isn't much you can do about this, however, I do understand how you feel. Maybe, you should try talking to your sister and letting her know how you're feeling about her. Not in a mean way, but in a calm manor. You may get somewhere with her, and she may not realize how she's treating you ("snobby").
To get other people to see that you're a nice person, and how much you really love taking care of kids -- prove it to them. Take on a babysitting job and show them that you can take care of them. My only concern is if you're having doubts about babysitting, maybe, you shouldn't jump right into it. Or be sure you have a clear understanding of what to do and what not to do in an emergency.
