DVD Player Download

Okay, so I have a Windows XP Laptop [if that helps]. I wanted to play a DVD on my cpu but it wouldn't let me because it was unable to read DVD stuff or something like that. So I was wondering if anyone knew what sites gives you link/allows you to download a FREE DVD player thinger thing to your cpu. It would be better if you have it yourself...thanks very much =)

Are you asking about a program that will play the DVD?
Windows Media player plays DVDs on my computer.

There is one website inparticular that is very good, that is:
