well on friday march 31, this kid was talking to me
& he was telling me how he has to take a bunch of
quizzes & tests that day cause he is going on
vacation (for spring break). so i asked him where
he was going & he said florida. & i was like lucky!
and he was like, "not right now" which i thought was
creative (cause he had to take a bunch of quizzes
later that day).
so, today, when i saw him, i was like, "omg you got
so tan!" & he looked down & smiled [ i couldn't tell if
he blushed ] & said, "tha-anks" & i wasn't sure if i
had accidentally changed my tone of voice when i
had said that. cause i mean, if i did, was he making
fun of me? or if i didn't, why did he change his
tone like that? like you know when you say "he-ey!"
to someone you haven't seen in a long time? he
said "tha-anks" like that. you know?
so, was he flirting with me? i'll take any advice like,
what i should do tomorrow, how you would have
reacted if you were him, etc. thanks in advance!

he probably was unsure of what to say to that. that's what the hesitation in his voice was. as for flirting... flirting is confusing. it's hard to differentiate between flirting and kidding around. i don't think this was though. chances are that you've flirted with him without even knowing.
