Does it really work if someone reads you something when you’re sleeping and you’ll remember it?

i think it really depends on the person. it works for most people, but it's not exactly a proven fact for everybody. it works for me though. whenever i have to memorize music, i just plug my ipod in and listen to the music on repeat while i sleep. that may sound dumb, but it can't hurt, right? of course, it may not work like that for other people. like, some people sleepwalk and will like make themselves sandwiches in the middle of the night and have no clue when they wake up in the morning. but if i were you, i would definitely try having somebody read to you while you're asleep, just to see if it works. hope i helped :) ]
hey
if you're sleeping, you can't exactly hear it.
it's true that if you're really tired & about to go to bed, like half hour or less, you will retain it better than if you were completely awake. this is because your mind is slowly turning off & kinda refreshing. new information sticks like glue in your mind.
i think that's what you meant - & if not, i'm really sorry for not understanding your question.
this also depends on how you learn. by reading, by writing, or listening (there are LOTS more). so if you read something before you go to bed, or write something down many times, you will also retain it.
if you keep reviewing vocab terms & such by this method, you'll have a lot of words memorized by the time day 3 or 4 comes around. ]
