we're reading shakespeare but it's like the easy version. i suggest paying attention to every single word. like as we grew up, we read words in clumps. well, with shakespeare, you can't really do that. you have to look & define every single word in your head.
honestly, there is SO much hidden in his words. you have to take every line & stop to think about it. you can't just go pages & pages without stopping. cause i doubt, if anyone does read shakespeare like any old book, you're really getting anything out of it.
just read it slowly & keep thinking about what is going on. & look at every word by itself. like if it said, "I love thee" you have to think it out. like, "I" "love" "thee" & THEN put it together. "i love you" [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
