A previous question reminded me of a question I have but forget to ask. What is 1d, 2d, and 3d in terms of videogames and computer graphics?

They are math terms, not computer terms.
1d has only location, it doesn't have width or length. A point on a coordinate plane is 1d.
2d has width and length, but not height. A square is 2d. Super mario bros(the old version, for the NES) is 2d.
3d has width, length, and height. You are 3d, a cube is 3d. Most modern games, like counterstrike, are 3d. ]
