losing weight

i wanna loose some weight or just tone up some areas: thighs, lower stomach/abs, and my butt.

what are some exercises that will tone up these areas?

aerobic exercises to lose overall weight:
Skipping
jogging
walking (power)
dancing

Toning your abs:
Sit ups
but also press ups as back muscles help you to tone your abs alot more easily.
crunches

Thighs/Butt:
cycling is useful
power walking
going up and down on one step is very useful.

p.s: try not to rush into it all of a sudden gently ease yourself in and then try to beat personal targets.

Most people would tell you to do situps, crunches, and that sort of thing. If you want to tone your body, those are great. It'll make your muscles tighter and stronger.
If you're actually looking to lose weight, you need to do aerobic exercises. I'd recommend jump roping. You can't jump rope for two minutes and stop though. During the first few minutes of the exercise, the body is only burning regular calories. After awhile, it'll start burning the fat calories (thighs, abs, butt). You just need to do it long enough, like 25 minutes or so. After a few days you should start seeing results.
You should do this especially if you want to lose weight around your stomach. Still do crunches, because it'll tighten up the muscle. All the fat around your stomach is on TOP of the muscle, which is the reason why it's so hard to lose weight there. And that's where aerobic exercise comes in.
