Hello Advicenators! And Happy Easter!!
I have been here for a year, but I think its time to reach out to the others, to ask a question of my very own!!
Tuesday, I am going to a professional that I know is very experienced, and is the best in town. I have very boring, curly hair, that I striathten ever day. It is parted down the middle EVERY DAY, because it looks terrible any other place. I have never ever put layers in my hair, but last Tuesday, I got myself some pretty blond highlights. I don't have a picture, because my stupid camera broke. However, for the first time on Tuesday, I am going to go extreme, and do a major haircut, and put tons of layers in.
I don't know much about layers since I have never had any. Can anyone recommend some layers that would look cute. I hate parting my hair down the middle, I kinda want sidebangs. Something to also bring out my highlights. I do not want to cut my hair shorter, just the layers shorter, as I am trying to go for longer hair.
Pictures are greatly appreciated, I am going to show them to my hair stylist on Tuesday.

So i have some suggestions for you...
When you get layers don't get short layer because you may decide not to straighten it and it wont look right not straightened..
SIDE BANGS are very good and they are nice....
As for parting it down the middle you always can just simple part it down the side or something..
i think you should try some long layers because of your curly hair..
also ask them to give you some bangs or side bangs but not too short..
