excel

Question Posted Saturday April 7 2007, 5:20 pm

okay i want to make a weight loss tracker & the only reason i'm doing it on excel is so i can make a graph of it.

omg someone has to help me.. cause in A1 i put "date" & it says and in B1 i put "weight" & it's all good. but when i start going downwards towards A2 to actually put "april 7" it gets like.. put into a decimal form & gets messed up. & when i put my weight on it messes up the date.

can i change the settings or something? PLEASE HELP!

right click on the cell A2 and go to format cells. then make sures its in the general category. its most likely in the number category.

i hope this helps and if its not right then just don't rate, thanks :]
