I have my tounge pierced and I have to get surgery, where you have to take out all piercing and stuff like that. But everyone knows your tounge closes up pretty quick so how can i keep it open while I have my surgery?

(like when you buy earings and they have those clear backs)I think they are called tongue retainers... I'm pretty sure you're allowed to have those. Any piercing store should sell them. Ask your doctor what is suitable.
