Also about 80% of the world is UN Circumcised, Just those other 20% live in america, And their talking about banning Circumcision because its brutality to babys, So you better get used to it :D [ Worriedguy0220's advice column | Ask Worriedguy0220 A Question ]
solidadvice4teens answered Saturday April 7 2007, 12:55 am: This link will explain what circumcision is, how a non-circumcised penis looks and is different from a circumcised one.
Both circumcised and non-circumcised penises are normal and common. There's nothing bad about either type. The difference is the non-circumcised penis has skin called "foreskin" or "prepuce" that covers the head of the penis to keep the area moist and sensitive.
During intercourse the foreskin retracts allowing the non-circumcised penise's head (the glans) to be ultra-sensitive during sex. A circucised penis lacks the foreskin to cover the head of the penis as that has been removed so the head is always exposed.
In the 1970s and early 1980s circumcision was considered the norm for baby boys. Doctors later determined that it had no benefit health-wise for infacts and did not increase or decrease cases of rare, rare penile cancer.
I heard it may help people avoid infection with HIV/AIDS but not sure that's true. Also more European countries tend not to circumcise boys than America does. Parents however have stopped in some cases having their children circumcised as it's really now for cosmetc purposes and to look like other men or their father.
Some religions and cultures however, insist on circumcision for various reasons. Is circumcision bad? In depends on what your views are as everyone is either pro or against it. There's no common ground.
I hope that article helps you understand what it is and the differences. Further researching on Google or search engines may yeild better articles and stronger information about the procedure.
The reason your classmates think an uncircumcised penis is bad is because they haven't seen one before. They're not educated about it so that's why this fellow may be taunted or rumored about. At least, you'll know what it's about and won't be ignorant or mock him at school. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
PinkLady4863 answered Saturday April 7 2007, 12:52 am: when a male child is born most families remove the tip of the penis, also referred to as the "foreskin." This is just an extra flap of skin that is useless which is why it is removed. Although being uncircumsized makes the penis look larger it then has much less sensativity thus the pleasure is lessened during sex, and the foreskin is often a turn off for girls for it looks gross. Imagine a glob of silly puddy over the tip of the penis, that is what it would look like. Not so pretty
unfortunate for your classmate that everybody is talking about his manhood =/
