Running Posture.

Question Posted Friday April 6 2007, 12:47 pm

I LOVE to run. I'm joining cross country next year (I'll practice over the summer more; but I can run just fine)

My problem is my posture. I do most of my running right now on treadmills & ellipticals (and I'm sick of it so I started running outside more). I always run leaning WAY forward and I always stick my butt out. It's uncomfortable, annoying, and embarrassing. Plus, I tend to trip more. My spine's not curved, and I only take on this posture when jogging/running (not walking or anything).

How can I improve my posture when running? Thanks in advance =]

i don't know if it'll work for you but lean back and put your arms down your sides and see if that helps at all. <3
