Do I have thrush?

Question Posted Thursday April 5 2007, 2:30 pm

My discharge is quite thick and it wobbles like jelly! It's sometimes slightly yellow and has a slight fishy smell to it..Sorry about those not so very nice details..But apart from that I don't think I have any other symptoms like itchiness or whatever..

I've heard many comments about discharge "wobbling like jelly" !
I think it's quite amusing :) but it's totally fine and normal for it to go like that.

Symptoms of thrush are the following;
itchiness, soreness/burning sensations, sometimes swelling may be involved and a yeasty smelling disharge.

So I don't think you have thrush.

It's normal for it to be slightly yellow, as when it hits air, it can turn a yellowish/browny colour.

The only slight thing which could cause concern is the fishy smell you describe. Could be alot of things ranging from nothing to bacterial vaginosis or even an STI if you are sexually active.
You said it was slight, so it could possibly be normal.

If you really are that wrried about it or it gets worse and you get more symptoms, it would be worth checking out to be on the safe side.

But to be prefectly honest, i think you are fine and normal.
