so theirs this guy...

Question Posted Saturday August 8 2009, 8:36 pm

ok so there is this guy at my school that i really like. he is so amazing and i went out with him once before. we whent out for about 1 month. once during thanks giving we were on the phone for 3 hours strait but than shortly after he broke up with me because he wanted to go out with one of his friends. they eventually broke up and we became firends again. Well then i decided to ask him out but he said no and made up a really dumb reason. he said that he was having a bad day and that he still would of said no. but i don't think he is telling me the truth. I think that my cuzin and him are going out and keeping it a secret from me. My cuzin won't even talk to me and i don't know why. how do i get over this guy?

I just got over a girl after a year of trying. I avoided her and didn't talk to her. Try to think of weird things he does as annoying instead of thinking of them as cute or unique. It works, it just takes a while. And make the CONSCIOUS choice to not like him. Eventually, you won't like him anymore.

Ok I know this is easier said than done and believe me I've been through it before but... if your gut tells you there isn't a chance with this guy you've got to force yourself to move on. And you will let go.. you've just got to try.

Basically.. STAY AWAY FROM HIM! AVOID HIM LIKE SWINE FLU!!!!
This is actually hard to do in practice, but you have to cut contact with him if you really want to get over him. Many people face the same problem, but usually the more you try to pull him towards you the more he'll push away.

You have to realise the hard way that you can't force him to be with you =/.

I think for your sanity its better to stay away from this guy ... do you have good friends? Hang out with them, single ones are better, and enjoy playing the field for a while =). Remember that even if you think the world of him now, it may just be linked to obsession fuelled by the fact that your cousin may be going out with him.

Try focusing on other things. Your life will probably seem a lot more pleasant when he's in it, but it's only because you're dreaming of something that isn't there.. if you really do want to get over him, you'll have to do it the hard but more fruitful way and enjoy your life.. away from him! Be independent.. you might think he's amazing but you don't need just another guy like him:] Make contact with other guys and you'll see what Im talking about.

If you want any more help just let me know but I suggest giving this a go first...

Hope to have been of some little incy help :]
