imb thinkpad laptop

Question Posted Sunday April 1 2007, 8:15 pm

Ok so my dad just bought a used laptop from his friend its imp thinking pad.(that's the brand) I want to know if that's a good brand? Like will it last a while. Also, it says that the laptop battery isn't good. So my dad wants to buy it a new one because it would turn off in like an hour when you would charge it for the whole night. How much would it cost to buy it a new battery?. Please help me and answer these 2 questions. Thanks in advance!

hey

i used to have one. it crashed several times. & honestly, i treat my stuff with good condition. it stayed in the same spot for like a year & i would always turn it off at night & everything. it probably won't last over a year, no matter how careful you are.

a new battery would cost $100 - $200 [ [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ]

a better brand laptop [ & unfortunately a more expensive brand but worth the money ] is a mac. very durable, lasts a long time, & rarely gets viruses.

i hope i helped!
