My best guy friend Luis asked me out today. I was extremley shocked when I read,''Don't tell nobody but will you go out will me?'' He asked me while I was on the computer. I don''t know what to do now. I mean like if I say no then it might hurt his feelings and I'm afraid he might not ever talk to me again, but if i say yes then he might dump me, and I don't want that.
But if you don't like him, just be as nice about it as possible. Tell him you don't see him in that way & that you think it's better off you stay friends. =) And if he's hurt, sure it'll make you feel bad, but at least you did it nicely. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]

well, do you like him? if not, say no but say we can still be friends. & mean it when you say that. dont just ignore him afterwards.
if you DO like him, then go for it! if youre a good girlfriend he totally won't dump you. if he's a jerk who's not worth your time, he will dump you. going out with someone is taking a risk that they'll dump you. but if you guys have a good relationship then he mostlikely wont!
dont worry about what he wants right now. this is about what YOU want. think about what you will gain or lose by going out with him. for example, friends, social class, etc. if you say no and he never talks to you again, he wasn't worth your time anyway. dont worry about him.
& dont be scared of messing up the friend / relationship. if you and him were truly friends, you will stick together in any form & shape.

I don't think your "best friend" would ask you out, and then dump you immediately. If you like him, go for it, and think of positive things, not negative.
