i'm asian, so naturally i have black hair. but i'm about to do a play for a friend and the role requires a different hair color. i plan on using temporary hair dye (the kind that washes out in a matter of days) but my question is since i have black hair, will any of the colors really have any effect on my hair?

Anyway if you dye your hair blonde it wont look good at all because it requires stripping the hair and then applying the product. Blonde would turn your black hair into an icky green color. I would suggest just wearing a wig, one that looks on the realistic side, plus you wont damage your hair and it could possibly be cheaper than buying the actual dye.
