About how much do speeding tickets cost in NYS?

Depends on how much you are over the limit. Also; the violation points that go onto your license depends on how much over the limit you are. If you have over 11 points against your license in an 18 month span; your license will be suspended. I'll put it to you this way- 3 points is just for 1-10 mph over the limit.

I don't know how much they are in your area. Around mine it is about 10 bucks for every MPH over the limit. :)
