skin on ear

It's really gross but I have like really dry skin on the back of my ear! One time I rubbed the back of my ear and like when I looked at my hands there was white stuff(skin) on it and then when i removed it my hands smelled so gross and bad! is this normal? what can i do?

Well, the dry part is normal. But I am not sure about it smelling gross and bad. You might want to go get it checked out if it continues. You could even put lotion on it to help it from peeling.

hey

it's totally normal. it's just dead skin cells building up. what you can do is wash behind your ears everyday and if you have dry skin, moisturize it a little. it should be totally fine.

the reason why it smells bad is cause it hasn't been properly cleaned with soap and water. i'm sure you shower everyday and just dont put soap behind your ears cause i mean, who puts <i>soap</i> behind their ears?! but i think you should start :]

This sounds like a possible infection. That's a very good possibility if you have pierced ears. Without seeing it, it's hard to say. I reccomend that you get it checked out by a doctor or at least show it to a parent.
