What can I do for fun?

Question Posted Wednesday March 28 2007, 7:04 pm

I'm always trying to keep myself busy when I'm by myself but I'm not sure how. I read, write and make collages but it's starting to get boring. I want to pick up new hobbies like crafts or just something fun to keep me busy like making things out of duct tape and clay. What are some [relatively easy] things that I can do in my spare time? I'm interested in any ideas.

You sound like the type of person that might be into painting and sketching...start out with simple things and if you enjoy it, keep gowing. my dad is a painter and loves it. also, maybe take up an instrument. another fun thing is cooking, and its better to when no ones around to bug you. also, maybe make your own website. hope i helped!

(if you want to send me your age i might be able to think of better ideas for you)

well.. idk if this helps.. but there are things called "no sew fleece blankets" you can find em' at any fabric store such as joann fabrics.. i suggest getting a kit at first otherwise get 2 fleece fabrics you like one patterned and one solid color to match or w.e. you like and when they cut it.. just ask for what sizes they recommend.. its not real "fun" but it's time consuming and you can do it while listening to music or watching a movie or something its real easy and you're left with a nice warm blanket!!

Well, you could join a local art or pottery class. Or you can get some containers, and some special glue (made out of oats, but you have to buy it) and newspaper. Then you put news paper on top, layer for layer, and hten in the end when it is all dry, you put like 3 more layers of white paper. Then when thats dry...you paint or draw something out of it. And then give the boxes to people or use it for yourself. Hope i could help
