now what
contacted my bank today now its up to 489.00 fees tacked on.so i called to make arrangements to pay told to pay within 30 days or they would close account,there is no way in which i can do this.so what will happen when they close account they just did not have any compassion at all about this matter i asked if i could make payments

Okay, my advice is this: rather than just calling on the phone, go into the bank and ask to speak with a manager. Explain what happened and what the problem is and why you cannot pay this money back within 30 days. Just ask whether there is something that he can do to help you. If you get a no, then take whatever money you have to open an accoun at another bank, if possible. What will happen at 30 days is that they will likely close your account, send you to a collection agency, and put the delinquincy on your credit report. That will make it much harder for you to open an account in the future. The bad news is that you still owe them the money. The good news is that they can't eat you for lunch. They will just have to take what you can give them. It happens to people often.
