Morgan on Boy Meets world

Can anyone tell me why the original Morgan on Boy Meets World was replaced??

The original Morgan (Lily Nicksay) left the show after Season 2, and was then replaced by Lindsay Ridgeway.

I am not sure, but I think they wanted an older Morgan because the first Morgan looked like 3-4 years younger than the second one.

Its not on wikipedia, which means nothing major happened. sometimes shows replace actresses to take the character in a different direction, which is what happened here. she went from cutesee, to sarcastic.
