my boyfriend fingered me a little harder this time. and it hurt a little at first then it was fine. but now i have bruises on the inside of my thighs. is this normal?
and also. when he rubs me "downthere" is it supposed to be borderline painful/pleasurable?

It varies from one girl to another however, if your body was not prepared (i.e. you was not wet 'down there') then that would play a large part in the discomfort you felt. There is nothing wrong with you telling your boyfriend to slow down if you feel discomfort so do not feel afraid to do so, or speed up when you feel he can do so without causing you discomfort. If there was not much room for movement then his hand movements against your thighs may have been responsible for the bruises in which case they may be considered normal. Ensuring there is enough room so his hand does not hit against your thighs should prevent this as well as asking him to ease up on the force he was using.
As for the rubbing you down there I have not known it to be painful to anyone before (so maybe a female answering your question may help here) but my guess would be that he may have been overly aggressive in what he was doing in which case simply telling him what to do and how to do it should help.
