pokemon crystal

i found my pokemon crystal game again, and i wanted to play it. [i know, lame, but bear with me.] so i play for AN HOUR. i save the game. the batteries die&it shuts off. i put new batteries, and it won`t save ! the game just WILL NOT save. i don`t know why. can i fix it ? help ! i really like this game. haha. and i really wanna play it. (:

OMG!!!!!!!!The same thing happened to me last night!!!!!! except my batteries didn't die...it just won't save the game...i even tried starting a file and saved it twice before turning it off and it didn't work!!!!! :( this maked me sad...maybe after the game cartridge gets so old it just won't work anymore...

Try calling Nintendo Tech Support. There should be a number in the instructions. They are usually very helpful.
