JasMANIA answered Monday March 31 2008, 8:45 pm: Take it from me...i work at Hollister. It's been bout a month and I HATE IT!!! Oh my gosh all i do is fold clothes all day and make minimum wage. But wait it gets better, i only work like twice every 2 weeks IF i'm lucky and I don't know if its because of my location but a lot of people work at hollister so they try to get a lot of ppl in so u can get at least $25. Its boring, the music gets annoying, you can barely afford to buy their clothes with the money they pay and even though they CLAIM that you don't have to wear their clothes, they make it so you have to. Trying 2 get another job asap. [ JasMANIA's advice column | Ask JasMANIA A Question ]

i had a friend who worked at abercrombie too and she just plain didn't like it, she quit after a week. i'm not sure how much she got paid but it wasn't very much. [ phantaa's advice column | Ask phantaa A Question ]

Anyway, she made minimum wage and was required to wear their clothes. She was REALLY tiny though and their smallest sizes were too big for her so she had special permission to wear her hollister clothes as long as she covered up the hollister logo. Anyway, they pay minimum wage, you get a small discount on their clothes, you get first choice (before the clothes go out on the market), and you're required (normally) to wear their stuff.
