wow! i have mid-brown hair with a side fringe (bangs, i am english) and it is shoulder length. here is my colour:

but in the sunlight it glows especially red and is very shiny all the if i look after it.

i use lush cacas in marron, which is a natural henna-based product. it's good for your hair and adds a glossy shine, as it only varnishes your hair, your natural colour will show through a little. it takes a long time and is quite messy but you can choose how deep your colour is by how long you leave it on for - this was about 2 and a half hours but now it is redder as last time i dyed my hair i left it on for 4 hours. here is the lush website for the USA:

i really recommend it after over a year of use!

hope this helps,

well erm, i can't send you it again because it just won't allow access, even to me when its my site, so if you just look at the picture on my column it's not incredible and it's a dull day but it gives you a general idea of how the colour used to be (September). it is now brighter than that but still the same shade.

hope that helps,
laura xxx
